
A woman who is suspected of throwing a milkshake at Nigel Farage has been charged after the incident in Clacton, Essex.
Victoria Thomas-Bowen, 25, was charged with assault by beating and criminal damage after a milkshake was hurled at the Reform UK leader yesterday.
The incident came only hours before Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer clashed angrily in the first General Election TV debate.

As a live studio audience – and about 4.8 million viewers – watched on, the two rivals spoke over one another despite pleas for peace from Julie Etchingham.
